Combining the power and stability of a solidbody electric guitar with the captivating resonance of a hollowbody instrument, the PRS SE Hollowbody II is an immensely versatile workhorse that'll inspire you every time you pick it up and play. This particular model is also equipped with an LR Baggs/PRS piezo system - allowing you to attain convincing acoustic sounds too!
Premium Construction
With a full hollowbody construction, this guitar emits an open and airy sound with superb top-end articulation. Mahogany is used to form the middle section of the body, while Maple is employed to construct the top and the back; with a tasteful Figured Maple veneer applied on each side. This mixture of tonewoods gives the PRS Hollowbody II a balanced sound and serves as an excellent foundation for its pickups.
Joining the body is a Mahogany neck adorned with a silky smooth Ebony fingerboard, providing a luxurious feel under the fingers. Carved to PRS' "Wide Fat" profile, the Hollowbody II's neck may feel quite substantial to modern players, but it's designed to offer optimal support for tricky chords or intricate arpeggios.

58/15 "S" Pickups
PRS' outstanding SE Hollowbody II gets most of its voice from its set of 58/15 "S" pickups, which capture the essence of classic medium-output, mid-focused PAF pickups from the golden age of electric guitar design. Crystal-clear with clean amp settings, these pickups also cope well with thick doses of overdrive and distortion; making them apt for most genres.
LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System
This version of the SE Hollowbody II boasts a newly-designed LR Baggs/PRS piezo system, providing you with the flexibility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones - all from one instrument!
The guitar features two discrete volume controls (magnetics and piezo) and dual output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics), allowing you to configure the instrument in a number of ways. You can plug into the “Mix/Piezo” jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 “S” pickups with the piezo’s acoustic tones. Or alternatively, you could plug into the jacks separately so that the guitar can run its magnetic pickups into an amp and run the piezo through an acoustic amp or directly into a mixing desk.
When using the magnetic output jack in isolation, the piezo battery is bypassed completely - acting as a failsafe (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups still work even if the piezo battery has run out of juice). The inclusion of a piezo system make this unique version of the Hollowbody II arguably one of the most versatile SE instruments in the series' twenty-year history!
